At the University of Utah, we truly prioritize our staff and students. Did you know the Union has a handful of resource centers available? If not, this blog is just for you!
Center for Child and Family Resources
Located on the fourth floor of the Union, the Center for Child and Family Resources provides support for parents and a guide to childcare. Not only that, but they help navigate the parent through a variety of childcare and family services.
Center for Disability and Access
Located on the first floor of the Union, the Center for Disability and Access is determined to help students with disabilities by providing the opportunity for success and equal access. Committed to regulating reasonable accommodations as outlined by Federal and State Law, they strive to create an inclusive and safe environment.
Located in the basement of the Union, Inclusive Excellence supports and provides an environment that fosters the values of respect, diversity, equity, inclusivity, and academic excellence for students in our increasingly global campus community.
International Student and Scholar Services
Located on the fourth floor of the Union, the mission of the International Student and Scholar Services is to support international students and visiting scholars through the provision of visa services, opportunities to interact with the community, and access to a lifelong network of international colleagues.
Located on the fourth floor of the Union, the LGBT Resource Center works to create and maintain a safe environment for LGBT students, staff, faculty, alumni and the entire campus community. They provide educational and social programs, support services, and resources intended to raise awareness, affirm identities, support inclusion and build links with other LGBT organizations.
Located in the basement of the union, the Federal Trio Programs are federal outreach and student services programs in the United States. These programs are designed to identify and provide services for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Located on the fourth floor of the Union, the Women’s Resource Center serves as a central resource for education and support services for women. They facilitate choices and changes through programs, counseling and training grounded in a commitment to advance social justice and equality.
