Your UCard is your student ID, but also lets you access your building, use your meal plan or Flex Dollars, and ride UTA public transit. Beginning this Fall, 2024, the University of Utah UCard office will roll out Mobile UCards for incoming first-year students. This mobile option will replace physical UCards. Like physical UCards, Mobile UCards grant students access to campus services, buildings, meal plans, and UCash. For more information please visit ucard.utah.edu
Residents are automatically given a mailing address. You may begin receiving mail for the fall semester on August 6, 2024. To view your mailing address and to learn more, visit our Desk & Mail Services page.
All housing & meal plan charges will be included in the student's tuition statement. This bill will be paid through University Income Accounting & Student Loan Services. The deadlines for semester tuition, housing, and meal plan bill can be found on Income Accounting. To spread out these costs, students may elect to sign up and enroll in a payment plan. Students are legally responsible for their accounts. Visit our Rates & Housing Account Page for more details on paying for your housing.
Any scholarship or financial aid that exceeds the cost of tuition will automatically be applied to a student's housing and meal plan charges. This will be reflected in the student's tuition bill via University Income Accounting.
