Diversity Scholars

If you are a first-year student looking to create a community with fellow peers of diverse backgrounds, Diversity Scholars Living Learning Community is for you. Residents will enroll in ETHNC 2510 (Fall) and ETHNIC 2520 (Spring) while receiving academic and social support. You will receive exposure to Advisors, Faculty, and staff who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color as well as Peer Mentors who will help you on your journey. Come spend your first year with like-minded students exploring identity, engaging in social justice discussions, and serving the community. All these elements come together to holistically develop students and help them find their sense of belonging here at the University of Utah.
